He works on the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of heart and vascular disease. He reads ECG, echocardiography, exercise stress test and Holter studies, and sees patients presenting with chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath and high blood pressure.

Working from a preventive cardiology approach, he places weight on identifying and controlling risk factors before disease develops.
