Frequently asked questions

Which complaints should bring me to internal medicine?

You can see an internal medicine specialist for persistent fatigue, unexplained weight loss or gain, prolonged fever, digestive problems, unstable blood pressure or blood sugar, and for the follow-up of chronic illness.

How often should I have a check-up?

For adults without complaints, a general review once a year is recommended. If you are under follow-up for diabetes, blood pressure or cholesterol, your doctor may set a shorter interval.

Do I need to fast for the tests?

Tests such as fasting blood sugar and cholesterol require 8–12 hours of fasting. When your appointment is arranged we tell you which tests are planned.

Should I bring the medicines I take?

Yes. Your medication list and any recent test results speed up the assessment and avoid repeating tests unnecessarily.

Would you like an internal medicine appointment?

Fill in the form and we will come back to you shortly with a suitable day and time.
